Why did you choose to sponsor eTail Germany Connect in 2023?

Tim: The quality of the 1-1 meetings have been very good, but it’s also the quality of the delegates attending, who are willing to have conversations about the brand and us as a solution provider. I think these are the main reasons we sponsor year after year, in all the different countries.

How have you found the quality of delegates, and have you managed to attend any of the sessions?

Tim: The level of seniority here is great compared to other events I’ve attended before. I’ve also attended some of the sessions, the quality of them is very good, I really like the content. It’s always good to get a sense of what the market is evolving into, what is in demand and what the brands are interested in.

How have you found the networking opportunities?

Tim: There have been good opportunities to have casual conversations with delegates, like during the networking breaks. I think the ratio of sessions and 1-1 meetings, with the networking breaks in between, makes it quite valuable to open discussions or conversations with people you haven’t met before. I can’t name a single person who wasn’t open to having a conversation.

How many meetings have you had?

Tim: We’ve had 11 in total and that’s just half of the first day. Every time we are at eTail, we never get disappointed. We used the attendee profiling before our meetings, and it was great that everyone remembered what they typed in, what they’re searching for and what their priorities are. None of the delegates seemed forced into doing the meetings which is very important to us, as it means the people we are meeting and speaking with are open to new solutions and topics.

Do you see sponsoring eTail Germany Connect having a positive impact on your 2024 business goals?

Tim: Definitely, 100%. Keep continuing what you do, the format is great. It’s one of most successful event formats we sponsor, and we’d love to come back every year. I would rate the organisation of the event a solid 9. From the beginning with the communication, the selection of the delegates we would like to meet, it was very well organised. Also here on site, WBR always takes care of everything if we would like to meet some specific brands. You make dreams come true.
